CUSTOMS BROKERAGE SUPERVISOR

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and coach: Entry-Writing/CHB staff.
Assign accounts: Distribute workload across the team.
Measure performance: Address any emerging issues.
Support local branch: Assist Import Transportation teams with brokerage requirements.
Troubleshoot freight issues: Work with US Customs and other government agencies.
Enhance department performance: Collaborate with the Customs Brokerage Manager.
Complete Entry work: Audit files for accuracy as needed.
Oversee billing processes: Monitor dwell time for all files.
Improve procedures: Streamline the Entry department workflow.
On-board new clients: Follow sales or client-specific SOPs.
Verify accuracy: Ensure correctness of US Customs documentation.
Execute projects: Provide support as assigned by management.
Desired Skills & Experience
Accreditation: Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) required; Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years working with US Customs and other government agencies.
Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of US Customs rules and regulations.
Leadership: Prior experience in personnel supervision and/or training.
