What You'll Do

You will drive strategy and own the Sourcing and Supplier Management team for Foundry, OSAT, Substrates, and outsourced ASIC within our Global Supplier Management (GSM) function. This is a critical arm of our Supply Chain Operations responsible for a [Multi-Billion Dollar] direct component spend. In this role, you will be part of a highly impactful and dynamic organization, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and global suppliers.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Strategic Direction: Set and drive the strategic direction for the company’s Foundry, OSAT, Substrates, and outsourced ASIC categories.

  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a global team of professionals who give the company a competitive edge through leading-edge strategy, sourcing, and supplier management.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with and influence the engineering leadership team on strategy and sourcing decisions for new designs.

  • Supplier Relations: Build and sustain effective supplier relationships across technical, commercial, delivery, and quality metrics.

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and execute all aspects/terms of supplier agreements, including Master Purchase Agreements (MPA), Long Term Agreements (LTAs), Development License Agreements (DLAs), settlement agreements, and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU).

  • Market Intelligence: Anticipate, identify, and track relevant market tendencies, disruptions, and technology transitions.

  • Talent Development: Actively drive people development, mentorship, and a diverse, inclusive team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 11+ years of a demonstrated track record in direct sourcing and supplier management within the electronics/semiconductor industry.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep experience and knowledge of industry and technology trends in the Foundry, OSAT, Substrates, and outsourced ASIC spaces.

  • Commercial Acumen: Excellent skills in supplier management, commercial negotiation, and contract lifecycle management.

  • Technical Synergy: Experience in product development with a proven ability to develop immediate credibility with engineering teams.

  • Problem Solving: High-energy, strategic problem solver with excellent judgment, conflict-resolution skills, and a real passion for learning.

  • Executive Presence: Comfortable engaging at all levels of the organization—quickly developing trust, communicating complex data through storytelling, and driving active discussions.

  • Education: BA or BS degree required; Graduate degree (MBA or Master's in a technical field) preferred.
